Hailing from the beautiful Hill Country town of Boerne TX, Hunter Lees eventually ventured to Abilene Christian University where he pursued a degree in Advertising & Public Relations with a minor in Graphic Design. He also had the opportunity to play football for the Wildcats as a Wide Receiver and earned All District Academic honors. When he wasn’t studying or on the field catching passes, you could find Hunter behind the drum kit playing for his local church or hanging with friends in the art department building till 2 AM.
In his senior year, Hunter had the opportunity to act as the Account Director and lead a team of 14 in his capstone class as they pushed to make BIRK Water the ‘next big thing’ in the flavored water industry. During this time, Hunter confirmed his love for working with clients and the opportunity to touch so many pieces of the business as an Account Director.
Hunter ended up going to work for an IT & Fulfillment company as an Account Manager, where he got to flex his client relations muscles working with L’Oréal’s Ecommerce managers on a daily basis as they pushed out various promotions. However, there was always a desire to get in the adverting world and work in account services, which is where Miller Ad Agency comes in. The ability to bring his data driven mind as well as creative flair to the table gives him a unique point of view on client projects.
Ultimately, Hunter looks to live out the Golden Rule at work and in everyday life, which in turn has helped foster relationships and grow trust with clients.
