Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Alma Cienski is a certified Jill-of-all-trades. Alma graduated from the University of Oklahoma in May 2020 (give her a break, Texas fans), earning a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism – Public Relations and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. When she wasn’t in dance rehearsal or cheering on the Sooners, she worked as a culture reporter and video coordinator for the OU Daily student newspaper, a public relations intern for Oklahoma City Ballet in 2018, and a communications design intern for IPG Mediabrands in New York City in 2019.
While at IPG, Alma worked on the Keurig Dr Pepper account, working with the digital, video, search and analytics teams on more than 10 different brands across all demographics. She was selected for the IPG Leadership Academy and, at the conclusion of her summer, led a team of 9 other interns to win the “Perfect Pitch” project, creating a campaign to rebrand beauty brand Revlon for a younger demographic in a highly competitive market.
Alma began working for Miller Ad Agency just 5 sweet weeks after officially graduating and saying goodbye to Oklahoma. She currently works in Account Services and manages billing, giving her a finance cap to add to her tall stack of hats.
But Alma is more than just a Sooner, journalist, dancer, public relations specialist, video coordinator, numbers lady and aspiring Advertising guru. Outside of the office, Alma is an others-proclaimed cheese board master (although she can board just about anything), music lover, and a slowly-becoming yogi.
Whatever cap she has on, Alma strives to convey truth, creativity, and passion to everyone she meets and through everything she does
